Often the older members teach at these rallies too. The DC's of the most successful branches in Pony Club describe badges as 'the life blood of the Pony Club'.Ĭoming to a badge rally is a great way to meet other members and learn some horsey stuff without having to manage the pony at the same time. The advanced achievement badges cover riding and road safety, health and well being of riders and understanding training of the horse. All care of horses and ponies as well as understanding the countryside is covered in the syllabus. The Pony Club has 129 badges - so from the very start members can earn a badge for knowledge or skills they attain through Pony Club. This session will be learning about all the different bits for a pony/horse along with bandaging, all this is very beneficial if you are thinking of doing your B test.
